Electrical Supervisor – Water Treatment

Location: Anglian and Thames Water regions, with travel between sites
Pay: £24.50 per hour
Hours: 42 contracted hours per week, Monday to Friday; overtime after 42 hours
Travel: Paid travel time in addition to contracted hours

We’re looking for an Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams on water treatment projects across the Anglian and Thames Water regions. This is a permanent, site-based role with varied projects and the backing of a major UK construction group.

The company

Our client is a specialist electrical contractor delivering water sector projects as both a principal contractor and a partner to larger project teams. Its work ranges from smaller installations to multimillion-pound schemes, with long-term framework work providing a strong pipeline of projects.

What you’ll be doing

As an Electrical Supervisor, you’ll:

• Lead electricians on site and make sure installations are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Coordinate electrical works with design, compliance and wider project teams.
• Check installations against drawings, client requirements and BS 7671.
• Maintain site safety and quality standards, including the required records.
• Resolve practical issues as work progresses.
• Coach electrical improvers and apprentices.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong industrial electrical background and the confidence to manage your own site workload. You’ll need an ECS Gold Card, SSSTS or equivalent, a First Aid qualification and a full UK driving licence.

Water industry experience and an EUSR Water Hygiene card would be useful. Qualifications such as 2391, CompEx, PASMA, IPAF or Confined Space would also be welcome.
