Street works Coordinator – Multi Utilities

Location: Kearsley, Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £35,000
Contract: Permanent, full time

We’re looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to support multi-utility teams delivering connections and infrastructure works across the North West. You’ll help keep permits, notices and inspections on track so site teams can complete work safely and with as little disruption as possible.

The company

Our client is an established North West utility and civil engineering contractor with long-standing relationships across infrastructure, development and local authority projects. The business is growing its workload and invests in training and progression for its people.

What you’ll be doing

As Streetworks Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Streetworks Manager and operational teams to:

• Prepare, submit and track streetworks notices and permit applications.
• Coordinate permit conditions, variations, extensions and inspections.
• Keep records accurate and ensure works are registered and closed out on time.
• Help site teams resolve permitting and traffic management issues.
• Liaise with highway authorities and other stakeholders.
• Assist with complaints, charges and fines relating to streetworks activity.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a Streetworks Coordinator with experience in utilities, telecoms, civil engineering or a similar environment. You’ll have a sound understanding of NRSWA, permit processes and the records needed to support work in the highway.

You’ll be organised, comfortable managing competing deadlines and confident speaking with both site teams and external stakeholders. Familiarity with streetworks registers and relevant systems would be useful.
