Senior Project Manager – Industrial & Commercial Utilities

Location: Greater Manchester, with projects across the North West
Salary: Up to £75,000, plus company car or car allowance

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with an electrical bias to lead industrial and commercial utility projects, including infrastructure up to 11kV. You’ll take ownership of delivery, commercial performance and client relationships within a growing North West business.

The company

Our client is an established utility infrastructure contractor delivering work across industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Its expanding Industrial & Commercial division offers a strong pipeline of projects and opportunities to develop alongside the business.

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll:

• Lead projects from planning and design coordination through to completion.
• Take responsibility for safety, quality, programme, budget and profitability.
• Manage project managers, supervisors, operatives and supply chain partners.
• Build strong relationships with clients and keep them informed throughout delivery.
• Review forecasts, resources, risks and project performance.
• Ensure site records, as-laid information and handover documents are completed accurately.
• Work with commercial and operational teams to improve delivery and develop future work.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced Senior Project Manager or an established Project Manager ready to step up. You’ll have delivered electrical utility infrastructure projects and understand the demands of working with industrial and commercial clients.

You’ll bring strong commercial judgement, experience leading site teams and a sound understanding of health and safety and CDM requirements. Experience delivering projects up to 11kV would be particularly valuable.

The brief also calls for a relevant HNC/HND or equivalent, SMSTS, First Aid, a NEBOSH General Certificate and a full UK driving licence.
