Planning ahead beats chasing a last minute project team
Water companies and their delivery partners are working through programmes that involve more than one discipline and more than one project. The investment context is clear; the difficult bit is lining up design, civils, MEICA and operations at the right time.
I’ve seen how quickly a scheme becomes harder when key people join after the decisions have already been made. Bringing a planner, site lead or commissioning specialist in early can reveal a problem before it becomes a delay.
If you know the work is coming, give yourself room to hire properly. A clear brief, realistic package and sensible interview process will do more for delivery than calling every role urgent.
