Project Supervisor -North West

We’re looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient delivery of multi utility works. You’ll manage site teams and subcontractors, keep projects moving, and make sure work is completed to a high standard.

The company

Our client is an established civil engineering and utilities contractor delivering infrastructure projects across the North West. This is an opportunity to join a busy operational team where your planning, leadership and knowledge of multi utility works will make a visible difference.

What you’ll be doing

As Project Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day site delivery, working closely with project managers, operatives, subcontractors and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising multi utility teams and keeping work on programme.
• Planning ahead for site visits, materials, plant and equipment.
• Leading on site safety, including audits, toolbox talks, RAMS and incident reporting.
• Checking that work meets drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Keeping records, completion paperwork and as-laid information up to date.
• Communicating clearly with clients and resolving issues that affect delivery.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring substantial multi utility experience and a proven track record of supervising teams. You’ll be comfortable working in the highway, managing competing priorities and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

The brief calls for SMSTS, NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor, relevant EUSR qualifications, three-day First Aid training and a full driving licence. Strong people management and a practical approach to problem solving are equally important.
