Contracts Manager

Location: Leicester, with travel to project sites
Salary: Up to £75,000, plus car or car allowance

We’re looking for a Contracts Manager – National Infrastructure to lead a portfolio of projects supporting Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Justice estates. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex work, build strong client relationships and help deliver infrastructure that matters.

The company

Our client is a major UK principal contractor with the resources to deliver significant national programmes. Its infrastructure teams bring together civil engineering, building and specialist technical expertise, giving the successful Contracts Manager exposure to a varied pipeline of work and room to develop their career.

What you’ll be doing

As Contracts Manager – National Infrastructure, you’ll oversee multiple projects from planning through to handover. You’ll:

• Lead project teams and supply chain partners across several live sites.
• Take responsibility for programme, budgets, quality and safe delivery.
• Manage contract administration, change control and commercial performance under NEC contracts.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and senior colleagues.
• Support bids, future work opportunities and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an established Contracts Manager with experience managing multiple infrastructure, civil engineering or construction projects. You’ll bring sound commercial judgement, a working knowledge of NEC contracts and the confidence to lead multidisciplinary teams. SMSTS, a full UK driving licence and a relevant qualification or equivalent experience are also sought.

Experience with technical infrastructure, including cabling, ducting or associated building works, would be useful.
