A recruiter should tell you what they know
You should understand where your CV is going, what the role involves and the likely process before it is submitted. Ask questions if anything sounds vague.
Good recruitment is a conversation. Tell me what matters to you, what experience you want to use and where the deal breakers are. I can then give you a straight answer about whether the job makes sense.
And if I do not know the answer, I should say so and go and find out.
