The best water projects will be judged on outcomes
AMP8 gives the water sector a substantial programme to deliver. But I think the most interesting question is what customers and the environment actually get at the other end of it. That is where good engineering, sound management and accountability show their value.
Contractors will need teams capable of working through changing scope, live assets and demanding deadlines. There is a difference between filling seats and building a team that can solve problems together.
At J3A, I want our contribution to be practical: understand the scheme, tell candidates the truth about the job and help clients find people who can deliver. That matters more to me than a big headline number.
